No-annual-fee cash back cards compared
Every card here is a personal card with no annual fee that earns cash back, either at a flat rate or through bonus categories, and is open to new applicants. The order is alphabetical by name. Flat-rate cards suit spending that's spread out; category cards pay extra on things like groceries, dining or rotating quarterly picks, though some cap the bonus or need activation. If you travel abroad, look at the foreign transaction fee row, because several of these cards charge one. Welcome offers and intro rates change, so check the issuer.
Not a ranking. This list comes from our card data criteria: personal cards open to new applicants with a $0 annual fee band that earn cash back, flat-rate or by bonus category. Cards are listed alphabetically by name. Card details last reviewed October 2–3, 2026; each card page shows its own date. Confirm everything on the issuer site. Our editorial policy .
